Itโs been a minute of radio silence while I escape the Mid-Atlantic cold to visit the beautiful nation of South Africa๐
Our first three days have been spent traveling north from Johannesburg and visiting The Kruger National Park-almost 19,500 sq. km. of preserved land that borders Mozambique and hosts an astounding variety of mammals-elephants! lions! buffalo! giraffe! zebra! (and basically ALL the others) and over 500 varieties of birds.
This animal nut is not ashamed to tell you-I have been squeaking with excitement just about every minute. Hereโs some pictures I took with my phone-weโre headed to Cape Town tomorrow ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ฆ
